About Us

Hello, I am Candice. Candice’s Creations is a family-owned business that offers custom cakes, cupcakes, treats, piñatas, and bakery items. Everything is baked and created by me.

I am a Gila Valley native, I grew up watching my grandmothers, who all had a love for being in the kitchen. Each of them added their own personal touch to anything that came out of their kitchen, each known for their cooking and baking. My love for baking started when I was a kid. It brought me so much joy baking cookies and cakes, coming up with creative holiday treats for my family to enjoy. As an adult my cake making came back when it came time to having birthday parties for our kids. It was something that I looked forward to and brought me so much excitement. It was exciting creating the cake itself but also brought me joy to see the excitement that my cake brought to our kids.

I made my first piñata in 2016 when our oldest son was wanting an angry bird piñata which was impossible to find with such short notice. So, of course I had to give it my best shot. Family and friends started to put in orders. From there, with more practice I began improving and was able to provide high quality custom piñatas.

For twelve years I have been a full-time stay at home mom to our four kids, using what little spare time I had creating piñatas. In spring of 2023, with my kids being older I was able to jump in full-time creating custom cakes, cupcakes, and treats while still creating custom piñatas. That same fall I was able to start introducing pan dulce, breads, cookies, and my Nana’s empanadas, expanding Candice’s Creations into more than I could have ever expected or hoped for it to be.
